Ditto [+summary+] truncate and add ...

Hi,
I’d like to add three dots to the end of the summary placeholder. Here is my Ditto call:



So I truncate the [+summary+] at 150 characters though it’s be nice to append ... to the end.
I can’t see a way to this without editing the Ditto core snippet.

Is it possible?

You should be able to do that in the tpl chunk you use. Just add the ... after the placeholder tags.

Thanks Sotwell. I did as you suggested and just added a style to make < p > tags display inline so the ... didn’t begin on a newline.

The solution here will append the ... to every entry, what if every title is not long enough to be truncated? Is there a way to add this ... only to truncated lines?
