[SOLVED] &removeChunk does not remove my chunk

Hi,

There’s got to be something I’m doing wrong here.

My &removeChunk parameter works for removing chunks with text, chunks with ditto calls etc..., but when I put in a Jot call, nothing. It displays when it should not.
Any ideas of what could be happening here?
Also note: &tpl has only "[+content+]" in it.

Here is the jot call inside of my chunk named "TutOut1".

Nice catch but unfortunately that did not fix the issue.

I’m pretty sure that missing back tick would have just messed up my filtering and possibly parameters I had after it, if there were any.

Does it work if you remove /change the order of the other chunks in that parameter?
And BTW your orderBy have no value i.e. no tv, `createdon ASC` etc...? Maybe that is cool... I dunno

No, I don’t think the Ditto parameter is the issue, rather the info in the chunk that’s supposed to be removed.

It works if I take the TutOut1chunk and put just text in it, or if I call the jot snippet un-cached [!!] with no parameters in it. If put in parameters it doesn’t work again.

If your document is cached I think you have to run jot uncached.

Bah. I was ready to give up on this as I look to actually posting on the forums as a last result. Thanks for your replies mrhaw.

It appears the [~[*id*]~] in my jot call is causing &removeChunk not to work. I replaced it with [~id~] and it seems to now work and remove the chunk as expected.

ID for current doc [*id*]
ID for a Ditto item [+id+]

I skip docid parameter all over in my jot calls...

Yeah, I don’t think "[~id~] " does anything, it treats it as if there is nothing there, I suspect. Either way, it did what I wanted it to. lol. Thanks.
