Custom tplPaginatePage being ignored.

I’m probably doing something wrong here - I’m trying to give my page links a custom template and it’s not working.

This is page-no-tpl, which is saved as a chunk:



I’ve just added a background colour and some padding to see if it works.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Change &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`0` to &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`1`

I deliberately set &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`0` as I am using buttons that I want removed when suitable. However I changed it to `1` and the custom template was shown to be working - I then changed it back to `0` and it is still working. Odd - thanks mrhaw.

I think if `0` it’s not going to show up unless there is more than one page of pagination!

As far as I understand it &paginateAlwaysShowLinks refers to the "previous" and "next" links.

When set to `1` the links are always visible, no matter what page you are on.

If set to `0`, then the "previous" link will be removed if you are on the first page, and the "next" link will be removed if you are the last page. Which is the behavior I want.
