Filter by template variable

Been looking around but not finding a solution. Any insight would be appreciated!

I have a conference site the has speakers and sessions. Within the speakers Template I have a TV called "session track"

On a separate page, I have all the tracks listed like so:



I’m trying to list the speakers in ’folder’ 20 but filter them out by the session track so for the example above, only speakers with the session-track name "social media" will display.

I’ve tried by using the field,criterion,mode structure with no luck, ie

I could be wrong and I’m just going off the top of my head but I think I have something for you to try.

Where you have: &filter=`templatevariable,[+session-track+],2` I think it should be something like this: &filter=`tvsession-track,socialmedia,2`

If I recall when you call a TV in ditto you put a tv in front of the TV name. Also, if your Session-Track TV is a dropdown, radio, checkbox or something like that you should have to enter a displayed name, and an id. For example, Social Media==socialmedia||Other==other. You will want to use this id as the identifier and not the text that will be displayed on the web page.
