How to get the lowest value from document's childs?

I have a table with categories (tvs: title and the lowest price) on main page, each category has several documents with some template variables, like: title, city, price etc.
Is it possible to get the lowest value (price) from categories’s childs?

Sorry for my bad english but i think you can understand what i want to do, i search forum and topic like this doesn’t exist.

You can use &sortBy=`tvName` &sortDir=`ASC`
or, since Ditto 2.1: &orderBy=`tvName ASC`

No, i don’t want to sort it.

One more time, in few words: I want to get the lowest price (it is tv) from another page - document’s childs.

If you only want the lowest it’s like ganeshXL said and add &display=`1` to your Ditto call.
