I Am Having Issues With Installation!

Well, it’s simply frustrating but i hope you guys can help me out. I do not understand the install.txt instructions. And it wasn’t formatted properly for my case and i don’t know why. So i suppose i had to take some initiative on my part to post my problem up here And well, what i am troubled with is:

1. How do i actually properly install Ditto.
2. Do i have to shift any folders in the unzipped ditto package elsewhere?
>If there is, is that the plugin folder for Modx?
>If it is, where is the plugin folder even?
3. Is Ditto a module?
4. Where can i activate Ditto, if i have to.
5. How can i use Ditto?
>Placeholders? or is it separated from the Manager as it’s own Management panel?
>If not, is Ditto’s management section in the Manager for modx?

Ditto is a snippet, not a module. It’s usually installed in the default MODx install. Look at Resources | Manage Resources | Snippets. It may already be there. If it is, putting in a Ditto snippet call on a page (or better, in the template) should work.

If Ditto is not installed, the readme.txt file that comes with it describes how to install it. If you can’t read it, try opening it in a different editor.

Hey BobRay, thanks for the reply. But basically i do not really understand what the readme or the installation guide is talking about, so i approached for help in deciphering that simple piece of read me here I am pure dumb 

Edit: i suppose the snippet is present. But how do i go about using it? Do i have to use it as i do to a plugin? Or do i have to use placeholders based on the Wiki’s?
