Anyway to implement a recent and/or most popular articles w/ Ditto?

1) I’m already showing the five most recent articles. Is there anyway to have a similar Ditto call, but have it start from the sixth most recent article (like a "older articles" thing that would list 5-10 more articles, but via the heading + a description)?

2) Anyway (maybe w/ another script), to have a "Most Popular" articles list?

For the first one, use the start parameter. Add &start=`5` to your Ditto call to skip the first 5 results.

I’m probably guessing that other idea is probably going to have a be a custom solution, though (due to needing to track the visits to X news article).

You can have top posts but you need to be using a page counter and set the pages to Log visits (stats) to record the hits. I have seen this discussed in the forum before but I can’t find it in my bookmarks.

Recommendation: edit the title of the post to something more descriptive to call the attention to the actual problem.

Gah, I had a few other ideas that I thought of a solution for as I was writing the post, and forgot to edit the title. xd

I’ll have to look into if that snippet allows to limit where it logs the data from. Thanks for the links, though.
