showinmenu exclusion

how can i exclude docs in ditto output with "showinmenu" checked?
I cannot use &filter there, because "document object" doesn’t have "showinmenu" parameter 

I think you can do it using ’hidemenu’ .
Something like &filter=`hidemenu,1,2` ?

what is hidemenu?
i assume this is some plugin, how can it be related to ditto?

another question, what condition i need to add to phx in order to accomplish the same goal, but outside ditto?
