Formatting user defined date

How do I format the TV "Start" as a date using Ditto? "Start" TV is set in UnixTime, however, the call below is not formatting it as I require - it’s still appearing in UnixTime.

[[Ditto? &documents=`[*id*]` &dateSource=`Start` &dateFormat=`%A %d, %B %Y` &tpl=`EE_Start`]]

But [+Start+] is the user-defined TV date. isn’t [+Date+] for the defaults like createdon, published etc?

Ditto reads UNIX time value from TV/modx variable specified by &dateSource
and outputs it as a placeholder ([+date+]) in the Ditto template formatted by &dateFormat.
