Is it possible sortby with tv variables

No I can’t use this.

you see the list of items which are separated in blocks. I would like when ditto render them to sort first by some tv for example 1, 2, 3, 4 or platinum, gold, silver, free . And after ditto make the first sort to sort already sorted items by createdon.

Is it clear? For me it’s very simple to explain this, but I don’t know how to make it real with ditto ?!

I think that you would use &orderBy=`tvname, createdon DESC` Acording to the docs orderBy should work like the ORDER BY in a sql query.

No man doesn’t work at all by this way.

regarding the RunDitto snippet, did you change this

to the actual TV name that you use?

What MySQL version do you got? The orderby doesnt work properly on 5.0.51 I think...

Now I changed it with tv name, but it produce only four lines of "No documents found".

I will try to explain again what I need

I have four TV (A, B, C, D). For example in one page I have a ditto call which take different items and all of them are with A, B, C, D variables. When I use:

&orderBy=`My_TV_Name ASC` it orders first A items, B second and so on, but this is just half of the job.

Imagine it is a list which should look and be order like this:

1. Item with TV A - created today
2. Item with TV A - created yestarday
3. Item with TV A - created before two weeks
4 Item with TV B - created today
5 Item with TV B - created today
6 Item with TV B - created today
7 Item with TV C - created today
8 Item with TV C - created today
9 Item with TV C - created today
10 Item with TV D - created today
11 Item with TV D - created before two days
12 Item with TV D - created before two days

So the results is first sorting by TV and second sorting of the first sorted items by createdon or date.
