HELP "Not Logged In!"

I just completed the upgrade to 3.1 and after entering my username and password in the manager I got to an empty screen with the only message in the top-left being "Not Logged In!"

What to do..?

Triple check that all files, including the index.php files, were uploaded to the server. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen for that one, as it’s easy to accidentally skip one here and there! I’ve also had FTP transfers occassionaly corrupt files that were copied, so that could be the issue as well. Finally, make sure you run the upgrade script as there are some minor DB changes.

If all that fails, please respond back with your server OS, PHP version and MySQL version. (crosses fingers...)

it was the index.php in manager that I indeed hadn’t upgraded! Many thanks for the quick reply!

Note for someone on the documentation team... can someone pick this up, flesh it out, and turn it into a troubleshooting guide (need a troubleshooting section...)?
