I would like to be able to use the ditto filter parameter on a template variable, but the values of my template variable are references to chunks, so the value of the TV is {{chunkName}}. If I put this in the filter clause, the chunk is evaluated, and thereby I get no matches to the filter.
Example:
[[Ditto? &parents=`3289` &display=`all` &depth=`0` &filter=`priceClass,{{specialPrice}},1`]]
Is there a way to prevent the evaluation of a chunk in a filter clause so that the filter can work?
Background:
The TV is a list of price options for a range of products in a store. The prices are stored in chunks, so that it is straightforward to update prices on a range of products. Each product has a radio button TV whose values are the pertinent chunk names.
I want to pull out all items of a particular price category (specially priced items, for instance) using the value of the price category.
I would welcome ideas about other ways to set this up if I’ve started down the wrong path.

After a little thought, I realized that I could use another filter criteria, filtering on items that do not *contain* the chunk name (7), without including the brackets, thus eliminating the problem. Should have thought of that earlier!
