    Hi everyone!

Here’s what I did: I copied the Ditto-Snippet (and all files and folders) in order to create another Snippet, say NewsDitto. I did this, because I changed some things in the Summary-Extender. The new Snippet-Call should show a different behaviour in the summary, which worked perfectly fine.

The problem arises when I have a document with a "Ditto" and a "NewsDitto"-call: Then the "Summary"-output of the "Ditto"-call overrides the output of the "NewsDitto"-call.

It is hard to put it into words, maybe the pictures help. "working.jpg" shows the output of the "NewsDitto"-Snippet like it shoud look like. As soon as anothe call of the "Ditto"-snippet is on the same document, the same box looks like "override.jpg".

In the "Ditto"-summary-extender, the ’read more...’ link (Den ganzen Beitrag lesen...) is attached in the, extender, where as it is not attached in the "NewsDitto"-call. in the "NewsDitto"-call, the ’read more’-link is attached in the Ditto-template.

The override shows both links, thus I think the wrong extender has been loaded. I already gave all Ditto-calls individual IDs, but no effect. The path to the different summary-extenders are correct in the snippets, since they do work as long as they are called on different pages.

I don’t expect anyone to come up with a solution to this weird problem, but maybe someone has an idea where I should look to get rid of this problem. :’(

    Thank you!

If you wanted to modify summary extender, you do not have to copy whole the snippet.
Just creating ( = copying and modifying ) a new extender is enough.

I do not know how you modified Ditto, but using &id parameter for both snippet calls might work...

Oh, I see. I’ll give this a try, thank you!

        Edit:
Ok, I managed to get round the issue. Should have worked with the $dittoID earlier wink
