Hello Question 1 of 2

    Was wondering how to summerize results in the ditto RSS, I get the contents from the whole article landing page showing instead of a summary. Obviously their is away to summerize the RSS results but it is not the same way as with html page, anyone know how smiley

    I have for the XML Feed page

    [!Ditto? id=`1` &format=`rss` &tpl=`ditto_rss_tpl`  &parents=`10` &dateSource=`myDate` &sortBy=`myDate` &dateFormat=`%d.%m.%y`]

    Along with this tpl from the modx ditto documentation site:

[+rss_pagetitle+]

[+content+]

  [+tagLinks+]

    And Question 2 of 2

    The second question is fixed: I fixed the author how I wanted, just took [+author+] out and wrote what I wanted in its place

    As for question 1, I realise now (ditto RSS feature) it is set up not to show summaries of the posts, but the whole post. If nay one knows any hacks to make Ditto RSS show summaries, let me know

    Thanks from Josh

      About question 1, refer to the Ditto default rss template.
      Try using [+summary+] instead of [+content+].
      $rss_tpl = <<<TPL

[+rss_pagetitle+]

[+summary+]

      				[+tagLinks+]

      TPL;
