[solved] Ditto Call for Multilevel Search

Hi,

We’re having a problem with Ditto version 2.0.2.

It is only searching directly under the parent container. (ID #2 in this example)

It is not searching the subcontainers and their children. It is ignoring the tagged documents that are nested within subfolders.


Here is the call - what do we need to change?

I found the problem:

Upgrading to Ditto 2.1 and using the parameters found here:
http://ditto.modxcms.com/files/snippet-ditto-php.html

solved the issue.


However I originally found the `descendantDepth` parameter, etc. using a page that is live on the MODx website but should be removed because the information is deprecated.

Hope the moderators might be able to get that old information taken off the site, or replaced with a redirect to the up-to-date data.
