Any difference between [+title+] and [+pagetitle+] ?

Is there any difference between [+title+] and [+pagetitle+] ?

I use these placeholders in a chunk that formats Ditto’s output.
Both return exactly the same value.

They’re the same and both work due to legacy reasons. I think "title" is technically deprecated, but could be completely wrong of course! There may be another parameter that tells Ditto to use an alternate field for the title, for example.

I would use pagetitle since that is the same throughout modx. title may not be consistent.
