how to exclude parents

Hello,

I have two questions.

1.- with using filter.
I use ditto to list all documents which were last modified.
In ditto call I use generally all parents but I would like to exclude some documents.
for example this situation:

University<- parent
- News <- child/subparent
- subchild
- subchild
- History - child
Study - parents

in ditto call I include parents "University", "Study"....but inside parent University I have another parent called News which should be excluded.

I tried with filter, but I don’t know how to exclued parent.

2nd question is.... How to add a new document with a thumb photo. [I know that it’s not connected with ditto;)]
I know how to add a new docuemnt and upload a new photo but, the problem is....I have a photo in original size, and I would like to upload it with directly resizing, is it possible ?

I think that you could do it with filtering based on the isfolder variable &filter=`isfolder,1,2` however I am not sure if Ditto will go into the container if the container is filtered. give it a try.

for the 2nd question, if you have more than one image you can use Maxigallery and if only one there is the DirectResize snippet.

if I understood correctly....ditto call will exclude all folders , when I will use &filter=`isfolder,1,2`?

I would like to exclude only one folder (with all childrens) ...is it any parameter in filter to do it?
