Nested Folders (Categories) with Ditto

Hey gang,

I’m building a ShopX site and am trying to wrangle Ditto to allow me to show the Categories in one style, with the products indented underneath each one. But I need to show all of the products on a single page. I can have everything show up, but can’t figure out how to make Ditto differentiate between the folders/categories and the products themselves.

The docs are setup like so:

+ Category1
- Product1
- Product2
+ Category2
- Product3
...

and the Ditto call I’m using is currently extremely basic:

[!Ditto? &parents=`4026` &display=`all` &tpl=`shopCatalogListItem` !]

Is this possible?

No, Ditto does not do "nested". I think you should be able to have "category" pages each with their own Ditto calls, then on the "products" page use a Ditto call to display the "category" pages. Or you could just use separate Ditto calls on your "products" page, one for each category.

It’s nice to know I wasn’t just overlooking the solution. Separate calls was the way I was about to go anyway, since they’ve got 3 different categories, then a handful of accessories to go with them that they want shown outside of the categories. Just thought I’d check to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
