How Can I Call News/Article Blog Archive to Home Page Box as Headline Only?

I am trying to put a ’Latest News/Articles’ box on my homepage that will display blog category items in the same way as seen on http://www.redchillisearch.com

I know the guys at RedChilli and I have access to the back-end of this site so I know it was created with Modx but I can’t see how the call is made to persuade ’Ditto’ to display the blog in this manner.

In a nutshell:
I want articles in a box with only date and title showing (Latest news in right hand column of: http://www.redchillisearch.com)
The titles must click through to the relevant article to display as content.

Can anyone help?

Create a chunk with the structure you want, using the appropriate placeholders for the content you want, then make the Ditto call using that template. If you have access to their Manager, look at the Ditto call they use, then go look at the chunk they use for the template (this may actually be contained in an external Ditto config file, depending on how they set it up).
