How do you eliminate the Created by and date that is shown when Ditto shows a list from a container? I just want the link to be visible.
If you don’t give Ditto a custom tpl to use, it uses the default one which contains the stuff you don’t want.
You need to create new chunk, paste the default Ditto template into it, and edit it to match what you want. Then pass the name of it in your Ditto call - e.g. &tpl=`MyDittoTemplate`.

The problem with altering the default template is that when you upgrade to a newer version of a snippet or a new version of MODx, your change gets over-written (and you may not notice it). The custom tpl you create will always be there.
