Using ditto for multiple web-user blogging

Hey all. I am somewhat new to modx, and totally new to ditto, so please pardon any blunders.

I am working on a site where I will have multiple web users, and I want each web user to have a blog available to them. I have looked at ditto a bit, and am somewhat daunted. Anyone have a good suggestion about whether:
1) This is the right way to do this
2) There is an existing project or tutorial that shows an approach to this

What I have gathered so far is that ditto rounds up "articles" under a given directory structure. That seems to imply that building each user a separate area in the manager is the way to go, but I am unsure about that as an approach.

Any advice?

Ditto is used to display the blog index. You can build a blog in MODx with a combination of Ditto to display the blog, Jot to handle user comments, NewsPublisher to add new blog posts (or use the manager itself for this, it is up to you).

There is a working blog in the demo site, it may help to take it apart and see how it was put together. There are also a few tutorials (in the wiki and in the documentation), however, both of these are slightly out of date but the principal still stands so they are worth checking out anyway.

Thanks dev cw. I had looked at some of that stuff, but it seemed directed at a single user blogging set up. That is, one place for one blog with one user making posts (not comments) to the blog. Am I missing something?

And I agree, I could build off it to generate a multiple user solution, but thought someone else might have already done this work.

How many bloggers are you anticipating?
If it’s say up to 20 then the current method of a folder each, using NewsPublisher for the page creation via the add-a-blog page and then Ditto to summarise should work.
For more bloggers then it might be cumbersome and an alternative solution would be needed.

Yeah, I am expecting every user (of which there should be millions ;-) to have a "blog" (really kind of a journal for the user, but with the potential for others to make comments). I kind of thought "one page per" might become cumbersome as well.
