Reducing image size in call

I may be missing this somewhere, but is there a way to have an image that would be in a blog/article reduce in size to a thumbnail(preset dimensions) in a ditto call?

I want the image that is called to the front index to be much smaller than it is in the actual article.

I think that the directResize snippet does this feature. I have not tried it yet. I think that there is another one named miniPhoto that may do this as well. This is not a feature in Ditto.

Oh, I almost forgot, you can do this with PHx within the Ditto tpl as well. PHx has a phpThumb modifier that may help with this.

This would be perfect. However I searched through the phx.parser.class.inc.php and I could not find anything regarding resizing an image. Any more info that could help me out?

ok DirectRezie will not do this. I worked with Metaller on this and he was extremely helpful, but Directresize will not cut it.

I have looked through phpThumb but this has the basic same restrictions. I could not see a way to do this using the phpthumb modifier. Maybe some one knows something I missed though.

I will look into miniPhoto next.
