Using Ditto as event lister, want to skip ahead to most recent event

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to setup an upcoming events list in my site, and I’ve used Ditto to do it. I created 2 extra TVs to hold the Date of the event (one with Unixdate for proper sorting, and another one to display), and show 2 items per page. Now this works pretty well (I had to hack Ditto a tiny bit to wrap the URLs in javascript calls, since the site is in AJAX), but it always starts at the oldest event first, but what I’d like to do is have it start at the most recent event after todays date, and allow pagination backwards for older events and forwards for future events.

Am I barking up the wrong tree trying to get Ditto to do this? Could I combine this with Reflect (never used it) to accomplish what I need? Or any other suggestions?

You don’t have to hack Ditto for anything. You can have anything you want in the Ditto tpl.
