Ditto by menuindex

Is there any way of using Ditto to list documents in their exact Menu Index order? I’m sure I read somewhere that it was possible but I can’t find any mention of it on the Ditto wiki.

Thanks Mark - I did go there and do a search but menuindex didn’t show up.

I find it handy to keep a link to this page that has a list of the document specific variables. Since most of these can be used with Ditto and other snippets and I can’t remember them all.

I have used &orderBy=`menuindex ASC` to achieve the same thing. What is the difference? Am I using an older syntax?

&orderBy is the successor to the more limited &sortBy and &sortDir parameters. It uses the same basic MySQL sorting syntax so it makes sorting by multiple criterion easier.
