Reflect and Ditto (both 2.1) doing my head in

    I recently upgraded Ditto and Reflect on a site I done late last year and now I can’t get the archives to display. The code I have is like so -

    In a document with ID 67 and "6" the parent of everything I want -
    [!Ditto? &id=`wp` &extenders=`dateFilter` &parents=`6`!]

    The Reflect call in another document is like so -
    [!Reflect? &targetID=`67` &getDocuments=`1` &filter=`hidemenu,0|display,all` &dateSource=`optDate` &dateFormat=`%e %B, %Y` &config=`wordpress`!]


    However I’ve tried all sorts and only ever get back "The Ditto object is invalid. Please check it." Can someone please clarify also that I can simply make a Reflect call and it will generate the necessary calls on "parents" etc without the need for a reference to an existing Ditto call?

    Help, please help...

      You need to add &parents=`6` to your Reflect call in order to tell Reflect where to find its documents.

        Sorry if this is a stupid question, so now Reflect doesn’t require a Ditto call now?

          Reflect is effectively another way of displaying Ditto results. In the past, it took a separate Ditto call to pass its data to Reflect. (Not to be confused with the Ditto call on the landing page) Now, Reflect calls Ditto internally but it still needs to know where to find documents to show.
