dateFormat %e does not work?

Hello,

I’m using Ditto at the moment and am trying to use the params:



Unfortunately, nothing appears.

However, it works when I do this:




Though I’m not liking the ’0’ at the beginning of the day of the month.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also I don’t wish to use PHX as I’ve had significant problems with it conflicting with Quickedit in the past.

Edit -> I’ve tried using PHx too and I’m facing the same problem - %d works, but %e doesn’t.

What locale is your PHP install set to?

Hmm. I haven’t a clue.

Where would I look for such a thing?

My default timezone is Europe/London in phpinfo()

%d is working %e does not.

Try it in a straight php file outside of modx and ditto. This may be related to your OS.

From the php docs:

Not all conversion specifiers may be supported by your C library, in which case they will not be supported by PHP’s strftime(). Additionally, not all platforms support negative timestamps, therefore your date range may be limited to no earlier than the Unix epoch. This means that e.g. %e, %T, %R and %D (there might be more) and dates prior to Jan 1, 1970 will not work on Windows, some Linux distributions, and a few other operating systems.

I’m just going to leave it in a format that works, then change it when I upload.
