And I confirm it works with TV too, check this post. You just need to use a timestamp widget for it to work.

A little allthough: the date is shown correctly by german names (in my case) but Umlaute are not correct (M�rz.)
I modified this line in the phx.parser.class.inc.php:

it works.

Only still one thing: for me the thing gives out no minutes (%i). It therefore outputs "%i". It does not seem to be the ":" before the %i.
SOLVED whatever reason it should be %M.

And it does not show up in a template with the appopriate content.
