Sort Ditto Articles by a numeric TV (not a date)

Is it possible to sort Ditto articles via a Template Variable that isn’t a date?

For example, I have a TV called "TV_Price", which a numeric value representing the price of a product.

I’ve tried sorting it both by ASC and DESC; however none of these work and it reverts to the default.

Also, the ! doesn’t belong here: Ditto?!
! is only used for uncached snippet calls:
[!snippetName!] or [!snippetName? &parame=`value`!]

D’oh! No wonder it wasn’t working!

And that is why I love computer programming. It always does exactly what you tell it to do, unlike teenaged boys. The only trick is to be sure that what you told it to do is really what you want it to do.
