Hi, I am using ditto to add pages to certain sections of my website. For galleries, pages on games and really just crap & blogs.
The problem I am having now is pretty simple, I add new galleries by means of a front end posting with Ditto like I would a blog, the maxigallery call is then inserted onto the page via a chunk put in the signature of the post in place of the comments signature.
The root of the issue I am having now is, when I add a new page by this method, ditto automatically marks the page as cacheable. I do not want it to do this. I’ve been hard pressed to find a call command that will allow me to do this in the ditto call call when making the post.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative.

Ditto has nothing to do with creating pages, it only aggregates and lists summaries of existing pages.
Oh? Well what kind of option/utility can I use to make pages created by this method non-cacheable? Right now in my configuration options I have it set to default all new documents to non cacheable but it didn’t really make a difference. Most of the items I post using ditto don’t really care about the setting, but when I create new galleries from the frontend, I have to go back into the manager and manually deselect the cache option for the document.
I did try to add the &clearcache=`1` command to the call, but it makes no difference, there is still no activity when I hit manage pictures unless I use the above method to stop the document from caching.

Some confusion remains here DarkOddity. I think you mean NewsPublisher, not Ditto, right? If so, I believe it respects the cacheable default setting on the Site tab of the Site --> Configuration page in the manager.
The other issue is it sounds like you are using cacheable snippet tags to call Ditto, i.e. [[Ditto ...]] vs. [!Ditto ...!] which would prevent the content from being cached, regardless of the document’s cacheable setting.
