I’ve go a page using newspublisher and ditto - but I want to show both unpublished and published documents in the same list...anyone know how?
Futher to that - anyone know of a decent proven way to allow web users to edit/save documents? Basically NewsPublisher but with edit facility.

First you will need to upgrade to Ditto 2.1 as a bug in 2.0.3 will keep the following features from working.
To show both unpublished and published documents use &showPublishedOnly=`0`
As for editing, I saw something called NewsManager or something like that some time ago that might be of help.

Will try Ditto 2.1 ...is this a stable version?
Will give NewsManager another try...seemed to not work very well so I might write something instead...(essentially to edit an item is as simple as a db select and update isn’t it - especially if you’re not using tv’s?
For web user editing/saving: try Front End Document Manager (FDM), i guess it’s still on rather early stage of development but already seems to work a lot better than NewsManager.

BTW the inline documentation inside snippet.ditto.php contadicts itself on this:

0 - show only unpublished documents

What works for me to show only unpublished docs is &showPublishedOnly=`0` &filter=`published,0` (seems like both are needed).
Ok, got my ’past seminars’ page to list unpublished docs with &showPublishedOnly=`0` + &filter=`published,0`
Quite powerful when combined with auto publish/unpublish dates for the listed documents !!!
So can I assume that there is a need for Ditto 2.1 to be used in order to list both published and un-published articles?
Can anyone confirm this? I’ve modified Ditto 2.02 quite heavily for our site’s needs and I know what I have to change in order to get the 2.1 version doing the same (aka better).
It’s just going to take me quite some time to get this changed over so I’d like to just double check 1st
