Usage of @FILE for templates

Can anybody post a valid example of using @FILE when setting the &tpl parameter? Thanks!

Are you sure you mean to use the @FILE binding ?

Or did you mean the IncludeFile snippet which allow you to work with files used as tpl’s ?

@FILE can only be used in a Template Variable, not in snippet as far as I know. Though you can use @FILE in TV and use that TV in the snippet.

Quite handy

To ensure your Ditto call will be future proof, please use the same syntax as MODx @bindings. Thus, your call should look like this:

Note the lack of a : after the binding.

FYI, Ditto also supports @CODE as well.

we should normalize the use of @FILE

in MG => else if(substr($tpl, 0, 6) == "@FILE:") {
tvExplorer uses the same syntax.

The best practice should be @FILE + space
