ditto call in sub-folder not working

Hi there,

Been looking through the forums but can’t seem to find a solution to my problem:

I have my pages/folders of a section of my site setup like this:

Reader’s Corner (9)
The Future Foretold (18)
Part 5 (19)
Part 4 (20)

In ’Reader’s corner’ i have this call:


It works great.

Then in "The Future Foretold" I have this call:


(added $debug so i could see what the problem was, but since the call isn’t getting parsed right i didn’t get any debug output)

And i see that ouput on my page, no ditto results, just my ditto call.

tried both cached and uncached, swapping back and forth etc...

I’ve attached a screenshot.

I’m using modx 0.9.6.1
Ditto 2.03

Try disabling the editor (TinyMCE) and then editing the document to see if it is encoding the brackets for some reason.

Ok, so it was changing the ’&’ in the calls to & changed those once tinyMCE was off and it works now.

How come it worked fine on my other page tho?

Sometimes if you copy and paste, TinyMCE will encode your text. Not usually, but sometimes.

Put Ditto(and all other snippet) calls in a Chunk and call the chunks in your content. {{ is not being changed bei Tiny. Another advantage: You can use them in different docs.
