Pagination no longer works after trying SplitPagination

Hi. I (temporarily) had pagination working with Ditto, and then I heard about the SplitPagination snippet and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it didn’t work, so I deleted it and changed the Ditto call back to what it was before. Now nothing shows up when I use [+pages+], [+previous+], or [+next+]. The only information I can find about this all seems to relate to the use of PHx, which I am not using (although I did try setting the page to non-cacheable - to no avail). Can anyone help?

When using pagination, your Ditto call should always be uncached ala [! .

My Ditto call was uncached previously but I changed it to cached because I’ve just been trying everything I can think of to get it to work. Changing it back to uncached doesn’t appear to make any difference.

Minus the pagination, does the Ditto call itself work? Also, what happens when you append &start=10 to the URL?

Yes, the Ditto call works perfectly as far as I can see, other than pagination. And changing ’start’ works too, but still no pages links when it’s changed.

Do you have another Ditto call or Reflect call in your template? If so, try removing it and see what happens.

No, there’s just the one call, though I tried giving it an ID too, that didn’t work.

When you gave it an id, did you prefix the modx placeholders like [+wp_pages+]?

Not with ’wp_’ (should it have been ’wp_’?) - I gave it the ID ’main’ so I assumed the prefix should be ’main_’.

It is prefixed by &id, so yes it would be main_
