Getting Categories Menu to Display in Sidebar...

Hello,

I’m trying to implement Category Tagging using this tutorial: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Category_Tagging_with_Ditto.

I’d like the Categories that exist to show up in the sidebar of a blog - like Wordpress, or any other blogging platform, etc. I have created the TV "categoryOptions" with the placeholder categories: World||City||Bar1||Bar2||ArtBooksMusic.

I am able to assign articles to any (or all) categories just fine. The problem I’m having is figuring out how to display the actual clickable categories in the sidebar. I’m getting tripped on it - as I’m not quite following the documentation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think that the tvTagCloud snippet has various different configurations, I have not played with it yet but that is where I would start.
