Ditto debug console

I would like to implement the MODX Debug console provided with Ditto 2.0.3.

But first on my site, i don’t see any debug console. I see the two bug images, but i can’t get any console window. What is wrong ?

My ditto snippet call is:

[!Ditto? &debug=`1` &language=`francais-utf8` &tpl=`lvvItemList` &parents=`21` &paginate=`1` &display=`5` &extenders=`summary,tagging` &tagData=`lvvTags` &tagDelimiter=`, ` &sortBy=`lvvDate` &truncText=`Lire la suite...`!]

Give it a try without &language and see if it works. If it does, it means the language file you are using is missing the debug strings.

There is a setting in the site settings that turn & to & which breaks the debug console by adding & to the url. Go to site settings and deactivate this setting (sorry I don’t remember the setting name).

Ah, the "XHTML URLs" setting. Thanks for the tip, I always wondered why the Ditto debug didn’t work properly when ever I tried to use it.

FYI, this should be fixed in the Ditto 2.1 betas.

Thanks Mark. I have upgraded the debug labels in my langage file and now it seems correct.
I will try to use the modxDebugConsole.class to implement a debug console for the next release of AjaxSearch.
Do you modify this class in the next release ?

I would use the version in the development download.
