Paginate splitter character doesn't work

    Ditto call

    Pagintaion chunk

    But pagination still looks like

    I guess that this parameter should make it look like

    Am i wrong? I can write it by myself but i don’t want to change ditto file for futher compatibility and i think this option exists here.

        Unfortunately, I am unable to located the thread where I originally explained this. For reference, another thread discussing the same issue is here.

        To explain, &paginateSplitterCharacter was written before &paginateAlwaysShow (where the previous and next text will always show). It was designed to split Previous and Next up if both were present ala "< Previous | Next >" and be empty when only one was ala "Next >".

        Now, should this parameter be changed to split individual pages in the [+pages+] array as described by Aramaki and others? Please vote in the poll at the top of the thread.

          I’ve read this thred before - it doesn’t answer my question.

          May be you should put the answer to ditto parameters documentation - the description of pageinteSplitterCharacter is vague.

          If update ditto core code this parameter should stay for backward compatibility and may be somebody uses it and my thing should be named like paginationListSplitter for example.
