I know there are a few topics about this, but I didn’t find solution/hack for the current ditto version and I really need it :
I’m currently trying to use ditto to make an XML output for flash,calling ditto recursively in chunk for parsing the entire content. It work well but , unfortunately, in one case i have to call alternative template based on the type of the content ex: gallerie or portfolio .
The only solution i figured out is to use &tplAlt &tplFirst &tplLast and &tpl with TV embed in parent template.
This is not practical because the structure of the content is fixed .
If anyone has a solution ( ditto 2.02 ) , I would be very happy
