Hello, first time around here for me. I am having a problem with Ditto and I couldn’t find any documentation on the issue.
What the problem is, is I have my website up and the blog set up as well, everything works great. Ditto creates the blog entry, it even marks the document as published. However the document does not show up in my blog until I manually publish the page. Which is rather irritating.
I’ve tried finding a variable in the code that manages when things published, removing the date column, pre-dating the date column, leaving the date column blank, setting system configuration to auto publish all new documents. So far no luck.
Any help with this issue would be GREATLY appreciated.

Well, for one thing, Ditto is for displaying news or blog entries. That may have us all a bit confused as to exactly what you are trying to do...

Fixed my issue, funny part is - I took a lucky guess at where to put the &clearcache=’1’ lol! I know nothing about the coding of MODx or the plugins. Next project is to learn how to use MaxiGallery! Off i go!

Be sure, &clearcache=’1’ ... its not the single quotes ’ around the value but back ticks`. Its mostly under the "Esc" key on a keyboard.

Do NOT use single quotes. It may be working fine in this case, but you will find yourself in trouble in no time if you don’t get into the habit of using backticks right from the start. Actually, I don’t see how it’s working for you now. The way snippets parse the parameters, it should not be.
If it is working it must be backticks. I am guessing that if it was copied and pasted in that it went with backticks.
Good advice to always use backticks.
