splitting ditto call for a two column design

Hi everybody
I would like to use ditto to display teachers Names in a two column layout on the same page. For example teacher 1-35 would be displayed in the left column and teachers 36- 50 in right column. Is there a way to use ditto this way and keep the ability to use the sort order?

try using 2 identicalls ditto but with differents filters..

for example leftcol could be filtered with &filter=`id,35,4` or something similar..

I’m confused, the ditto documentation is not helping.. ?
Were you able to produce the results you wanted on the teachers page?

I think you would want to use the WHERE clause.

You could build a 2 col table by using the altTpl for the second col. I prefer and recommend to do this with CSS since you will get more flexibility.

I know you want to fill the left column first and then start the second. But maybe it would also do if you just output left floating divs so that two fit in a row. Then you have teachers 1 and 2 in one row, 3 and 4 in the second and so on.

It is just an idea. Aditionally, you could sort the teachers in the manager so that you get the desired order. I know, thats complicated, but it would work
