Tags as category navigation

Hiya.
I’ve been trying to craft a ditto call that will list only my specified tags in a way that they can be navigated as if a category menu.

Is this possible? It has to be I’m sure though I can’t find any info on this.

As for how you want the menu display, create a chunk with markup like so:

<li><a href="[~[+id+]~]" title="[+title+]">[+tagLinks+]</a></li>

I have the default behaviour working just fine with tags printed into the news index listing page.
What I’m trying to do is create a side column navigation menu from the tags.

Currently this is my Ditto call:



It’s listing only one Tag that has been set in the TV documentTags - it’s a start though I need to list all tags :0

You need to use TvTagCloud snippet.

Another thing I’d like to do and again I’m unsure if it’s actually possible - is to grab the latest headlines (item title) for a specific tag. As ever with Modx, I’m sure it’s possible - though as to whether the code exists to do this - I haven’t yet found any.

Its surely possible, but I am not aware of any code available as yet. You will have to modify the TVTagCloud snippet I guess.
