Sort by a date TV

    ... I am trying to use the link mentioned earlier to show a human readable date, but all I get is the unix date... Did I miss something?

          I think you should use [+date+] instead of [+nbn_date+] in your Ditto
          template chunk.

              Hmm... I can not find ’date’ in your ditto debug output... I don’t understand...
              Why don’t you update your ditto to the latest version (2.1.0) ?

                I have tried to do this with the publish date and the tv nbn_date. I am totally lost at this pint.

                Upgraded to ditto 2.1

                  I’ve got another question regarding this topic.

                  I use ditto calls sorted by a date tv in unixtime (as in tutorial) and I want the standard value to be the date when a document is created.

                  Up to now, the standard value is empty, so I get "(not set)" when I create a new document.
                  I tried to put "@EVAL time();" in the standard value of the TV but it seems not to work ...

                  anyone can help?

                    @EVAL time() will return the current system time whenever the tv is accessed, not when it is stored. There are a few topics that detail workarounds for this issue in the forums.
