Why is the wrong date showing on my site?

Hi,

I’ve finally put together the basics of my site but the date shown on the home page listing entry (the blue box) is wrong. If I click on the tag in the sidebar, the correct date is shown.

I tried to make the TvTagCloud use the home page as the landing but that then makes all dates incorrect.

The 2 uncached pages (aliases of ’home’ and ’show_tags’) have the same code:

[[Ditto? &parents=`4` &paginate=`1` &extenders=`summary,tagging` &tagData=`tvai-document-tags` &tagDelimiter=`,` &tagDisplayDelimiter=`, ` &hidePrivate=`1` &tpl=`ai-ditto-blogTpl` &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`1` &summarize=`10` &debug=`0`]]

Page [+currentPage+] of [+totalPages+] Articles <span id="ditto_pages">[+previous+] [+pages+] [+next+]</span>

The code used in the sidebar is:

document 4 is the container for the blog entries and page 10 is the show_tags landing page.

So, why is this happening? Can anyone help?

I’m using MODx 0.9.6, Ditto 2.0.2, Jot 1.1.2, TvTagCloud 2.0.

I’ve searched the wiki, docs and forum (google brings up the wiki only) and nothing is coming back. The only entry I found for dates of 1970 brought me this.

I’ve tried another quick test, by showing the "show_tags" page in the menu, I can now see that the date is shown correctly for this page, but not the home page. Same code, but why doesn’t this work?

Somebody must have seen this before?

I’m at a loss huh

I just posted another article on my site and the same date is being shown. It seems that the [*createdon:date=???*] actually uses the date the page with the ditto call on was created, not the date the page with the content you want to summarise was created on.
