I needed to get a summary for my posts which have their content in a certain TV field. I first thought of writing a snippet for the job, but then.. why not use Ditto extender as the posts get listed by Ditto.
Just a little modification, my version of the extender accepts &summaryType parameter from the Ditto call and truncates that field. Otherwise works exactly like before.
