Ditto created RSS Feed Images not displaying

Hi All,

I have an RSS feed to a folder in my site. The pages it is feeding always start with an image. There are 7 pages listed yet only one image displays. all the pages take on the same format.

Is there something I need to do to make the images for all the pages show on the RSS feed?

That is very interesting. Is the image you are displaying in the actual [*content*] of each document or are you using a special TV and having Ditto merge it?

The imags is in the content of the page. It inserted just using the normal add image interface of TinyMCE. Each page has exactly the same HTML structure. Its weird to say the least.

I’m not bad with TV’s but merging them with Ditto has just gone straight over me!

Check to make sure that the image src has the full path. Sometimes TinyMCE will use relative paths depending on your configuration.

Thanks Mark, I will look into that. I did a little reading on RSS and there is an allowed image in the channel section using the <image> tag in XML although there isnt a tag in the item section of the feed. This is from an RSS 2.0 doc.

It may just be that one image is allowed in the channel to signify an RSS Feed image in the header.

I now know what is happening after finding a nice feed that had images.

Ditto is using the document content whenthere is no introtext. So if the if there is an image at the beginning of the content then its included in the Feed..

Got some changes to make.
