Filter View By

Hi, this is my first post in this forum,

I use modx and it works very fine! I have some document display in a page with a Ditto call and some basic filter on a TV, and it work fine.
But I want to make a sort of interactive : "Filter by view", like Resource Repository on modx site (the Dropdown menu of teh page modxcms.com/resources.html) and let user decide which filter apply.
I’be made a TV with the Dropdown menu, but how can I say Ditto to use the value of menu as a filter?
Is this a wrong way?

I use modx 0.95 with Ditto2.

tvexplorer/tveditor might be useful in this instance.

If you prefer to do this using only Ditto you would want to use the request extender to process the tv in your dropdown box.

tvEditor-tvExplorer are also "on work", so I prefer to use only Ditto. I look at request extender but i dont understand..
I have to create a string with the URL and filter’s parameter and set this Ditto call as a value of the DropDown menu?
I’m trying but without results..

@Mathew => tvexplorer is based on Ditto

I will release a new one by the end of the week which suuports date.
Documentation is only in french for now.
