Ditto and child documents

I am trying to work out the best way to organise documents in modx ...

I have settled on the following structure :

<br />Documents  - id 66<br />       2007  <br />           Jan<br />               Doc 1 <br />               Doc 2<br />           Feb <br />               .....<br />       2008<br /><br />

The folders and documents under the ’Documents’ folder are unpublished (Can make these published if its easier)

I have tried to get ditto to summarise the documents under these folders .. however it returns no documents

Ditto call

[!Ditto?&parents=`66`&tpl=`dittoTpl`&showPublishedOnly=`0`&seeThruUnpub=`1`&depth=`5`&display=`10`!]

Do I need to specify all parents ?

I have tried startId=`66` without much luck ...

I have a similar problem... any thoughts? The ditto information is not very clear.

At the moment, &showPublishedOnly=`0` functions only as a toggle between published and unpublished. This was discussed some time ago but the filing of the bug report seems to have never occurred. Please file a bug using the link in my signerature. Thanks.

As for a solution, I would recommend publishing all of the folders (set them to not show in menu or searches if you don’t want them to appear) and add &hideFolders=`1` to your Ditto call to remove them.

Give the current development version a try as it should fix this issue.
