Hi everyone, I am setting up my first site on MODx. What I want to do is to aggregate all content within a category and display it on a single page. For example, if my structure looks like this:
- Category
- Sub Cat1
- Sub Cat2
- Sub Sub Cat1
- Sub Cat 3
..etc
I want to have ALL content items displayed as a single page, but only within a single category. Is it possible to do with Ditto? Please help.
Ditto is exactly what you need for that: ditto.modxcms.com
There just seems to be a lot of documentation and specifications, but not much instructions and guides. I can list all the content item’s names, but not their content.
You just need to
create a custom template with [+content+] where you want it. Ditto can aggregate anything in MODx pretty much any way you want it. If you have more specific questions about using it, you’d be better off asking them in the
Ditto subforum.
