Making a summary with photo?

HELP:
1. I’m trying to make a list showing news headers and photos
Is it posible to click on header/photo and go to the full article?

2. And what about a list of books with a photo of their covers.
Is it posible to click in the title/photo and view an abstract or a review?

Hi,

First step create a new tv:
name: myThumb
type: image
widget:image

Attach this tv to the template of your news/book document

then create a chunk which will be used by ditto to display the result.
for instance:

<div>
<h4>[+pagetitle+]</h4>
<span>[+myThumb+]</span>
<p>[+introtext+]</p>
</div>

and then your ditto call

[[Ditto? &parents=`id_of_your_folder` &tpl=`nameOfYourChunk` &display=`10` ]]
