I have a working example of tagging build by following the screencast step-by-step; the only thing missing is the output of the [+tagLinks+] placeholder when used directly in titles (or body) of the landing page... the article filtering still works but I get empty strings in place of [+tagLinks+] !

Try this call on the landing page. If it works, add a parameter back one at a time until it fails. Then let me know which one breaks it.

...l got an empty string from [+TagLinks+] even when using your simplified call in the landing -page
the template it’s just:

Then I tried removing the &id=newspage parameter from the first call also, and it worked; so it ends up being related to the issue in my
other recent post/question .
if you use &id in the first Ditto call, then all url-parameters for tags are changed (newspage_tags instead of tags), it seems that the code generating the [+TagLinks+] output is not aware of this and thus just parses an empty variable (?!? bug ?!?)
...I do need using the &id parameter because I also have a DittoCal calendar on the page...
Are you using [+tagLinks+] or [+TagLinks+], the former being the correct one to use.
using the former, sorry for misspelling it; did you read the partial solution (and the possible Ditto bug) at the end of the previous post?
UPDATE:
the exact same Ditto call generates the correct [+TagLinks+] output in Modx0.9.5 but nothing under 0.9.6!
Shouldn’t this be investigated further ? added to the Bug Tracker ?!
