Not sure if this is a bug, or a wanted/unwanted side-effect, but probably can b useful to someone...
In order to generate a DittoCal-calendar to go along with my News, I inserted a [tt]&id=’newspage’[/tt] in my main Ditto; I just found out that the Ditto call on the Tag-landing page then needs the same [tt]&id[/tt] to be specified, otherwise it does not perform any tag-filtering...
the url-parameters that gets attached to the Doc-url by the TagLinks placeholder are:

http://www.mysite.it/Tagged-documents.html?tags=editoria&start=0[/tt] (without &id)
[tt]
http://www.mysite.it/Tagged-documents.html?newspage_tags=editoria&newspage_start=0[/tt] (with &id)
This is an intended feature. The &id parameter uniquely identifies all url parameters both read and set by Ditto. This way you can have two calls on the same page with tags.
[+tags+] is still giving me troubles:
-when used without setting &id, it returns the correct string only if included in the &tpl chunk; no output if used in the title/body of the &tagDocumentID page.
-when &id is set (in both calls; ArticlesList and TagLanding pages) it returns nothing.
